Heart Health Month

Not only does February have Valentine’s Day, but the American Heart Association also stresses heart health during the same month.  How heart smart!

The AHA set a goal of reducing the death rates for heart disease and stroke by 25% by 2010.  That goal was reached 2 years early.  Right on!  Let’s hear it for education, treatment and prevention 🙂  Now the AHA has set a new national goal:  they want to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20% while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20% by the year 2020.  Now that is a great goal.

Thankfully chocolate can help you be good to your heart.  Whoopee!  Check out this previous article (click here) to find out all the great reasons why chocolate is so great for you.  Then click the link below to buy the most delicious all natural chocolate on the planet from Drexelius Chocolates and help your heart feel great!

Good read … headline catchy … good points, some of which I have learned along the way as well (humility, grace, layoff the controversial stuff). Will share with my colleagues at work as we begin blogging from a corporate perspective. Thanks!
