For years I have admired Chuao Chocolatier. Friends of mine live down in San Diego, where this delightful shop opened in 2002. We had to make a stop! We tasted their truffles and tried their bars. Good stuff!
In January 2009 during our visit to the Fancy Food Show tour we got floored by their new Firecracker bar (read my review here). As the year went on it was one of the few things that kept popping up in our minds. We would find a bar here and there, but we wanted more!
At the 2010 Fancy Food Show we were fortunate enough to meet chef Michael, co-owner and master behind the chocolate at Chuao. We tasted more bars and had to bring them on board with Drexelius Chocolates. The flavor combinations are incredible, fun and delicious! Enjoy.
