5 Easy Steps to Healthy Chocolate

I know, I know.  You’re eating chocolate, so why try to make it healthy?  Well, it is possible to eat healthy chocolate and enjoy great flavor, too.  Very possible.  How?

1)  Go to the dark side.

Look at it this way, you are diluting the antioxidant and nutrient power of chocolate with the addition of milk.  More milk = less cocoa = less good stuff.  Plus, you must be picky about your chocolate because they are not all produced the same.  Over-processing and over-roasting will destroy important nutrients.  So choose wisely and buy from Drexelius Chocolates.

2)  White chocolate is for chumps.

It has no cocoa.  Yes, it has cocoa butter, but no cocoa solids.  Therefore, it is not chocolate.  It is pure fat and sugar.  If you want chocolate, see #1.

3)  Enjoy hot chocolate.
